This checklist helps you prepare for a shower door project. It does not replace the installation manual for your exact model. Professional installation is recommended.
Before choosing a door
- Measure the finished, tiled opening at the top, middle and bottom.
- Check wall alignment, threshold dimensions and available door clearance.
- Compare every measurement with the model-specific installation range. Nominal size is not the same as the required finished opening.
- Confirm opening direction, hardware finish and included components.
Before installation
Inspect the package and glass for damage before assembly. Do not install damaged glass. Keep glass edges protected and follow the handling, mounting and sealant instructions supplied with the product. Do not cut or drill tempered glass.
Get the right documents
Use the installation manual and dimension drawing matched to your product model. If you cannot find them, contact LANDOLT before starting work.
